Thank you for choosing The Roof Cleaning Co. to clean your property. There are some preparations we require from you to allow us to work safely and efficiently as possible.​

✓ Please inform your neighbours that we will be working with loud engines and water. Dirty water and moss may be blown on to their property, especially on windy days. (We will clean this at the end of the job). They’re best to move their cars if they are nearby.

✓ The perimeter and garden of your house needs to be COMPLETELY CLEAR of ALL objects e.g. garden furniture, plant pots, bins, children’s toys, gnomes etc. All these things are trip hazards and can easily be knocked over. Our hoses can also get tangled around them. They also restrict us cleaning up at the end of the job.

Please move EVERYTHING as far away from your house as possible.

✓ Cars must be parked away from your house. Please do this before we arrive. We use a large trailer to transport our equipment, we need plenty of space to park in front of your house.

✓ Please check that your outdoor tap is in working order.

​

✓ You garden waste bin needs to be empty for the collected moss.

​

✓ All windows and vents must be closed.

​

✓ We need access to electricity.

We will be cleaning years of compacted dirt and moss from your roof. THIS IS A MESSY JOB. Debris will be sprayed around the exterior of your house. This is impossible to avoid. Don’t worry, we do our best to clean this mess however, no matter how much we rinse on the day, there will still be some dirt left behind. It’s only fine residue, you can use a garden hose to rinse this over the following days.

 

We will be using chemicals to clean your roof. Please minimise entering and exiting the house. Children and pets must be kept inside while we work.

Tips

• If moss falls on to your grass, wait for it to dry and run a lawnmower over it.

• Ask your window cleaner to come the following day.

Payment must be made immediately after our work has been completed.

 

PLEASE UNDERSTAND, OUR JOB IS WEATHER DEPENDANT AND OUR SAFETY COMES FIRST. WE CANNOT WORK IN WIND GUSTS HIGHER THAN 25 MPH. ROOF SEALING CAN ONLY BE DONE ON DRY DAYS.
